About Christian Nativo
Christian Nativo is a live/touring drummer, drum teacher, music industry coach and motivational speaker based in Melbourne, Australia. With over 25 years of experience in the music industry and having studied at the Victorian College of the Arts, Christian has established himself as a versatile and skilled live/touring/session drummer.
Throughout his career Christian has toured extensively with original bands Feed Her To The Sharks, Vanishing Point and Lucy's Crown performing in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Japan and has supported/shared the stage with international acts Iron Maiden, Dragonforce, Sonata Arctica, The Amity Affliction and Joe Satriani.
Currently, Christian tours nationally/internationally with the acclaimed ABBA tribute band Bjorn Again as well as doing other freelance gigs.
Christian also provides session drumming services in studios all around Melbourne and can also record MIDI drum sessions from his home studio using world class drum plug ins with the most realistic drum sounds to suit any genre of music.
In addition to his performance work, Christian is a dedicated educator teaching drum lessons at various secondary schools and owning his own music schools Melbourne Drumming Academy™, Melbourne Music Academy™ and D.I.Y Drumming Online™. He also offers music industry coaching and motivational speaking services where he shares his expertise and real world advice with aspiring VET Music/VCE music students in Secondary Schools around Victoria.
